Si Ernani Joson Cuenco (Er·ná·ni Hó·son Ku·wéng·ko) ay kinilalang Pambansang Alagad ng Sining sa Musika noong Isa siyang kompositor at propesor ng musika, at naging tanyag at premyado sa kaniyang mga komposisyon para sa peli- kula.
Bahagi na ng kasaysayan ng musikang Filipino at ng popular at kolektibong kamalayan ang marami sa kaniyang mga piyesa. Kabilang dito ang “Bato sa Buhangin” (); “Diligin Mo ng Hamog ang Uhaw na Lupa” (); “Ang Bakya Mo Neneng” (); “Ang Babaeng Pinagtaksilan ng Panahon” (), “Gaano Ko ikaw Ka- mahal” ().
Napatanyag din si Cuenco sa daigdig ng pelikula. Ang unang gawad na nakamit niya para sa musical scoring sa pelikulang El Vibora noong ay nasundan ng marami pang pagkilala mula sa Metro Manila Film Festival, FAMAS, Urian, at Aliw.
