Bhisham Sahni
Bhisham Saini was born on 8th August in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He did an MA (English literature) from a Government College in Lahore, Pakistan. He was a writer, actor, teacher, translator and a polyglot. A Prince Unlike Any Other
Dara Shikoh was born in in Ajmer. He was not only the eldest son of Shah Jahan but also his beloved heir. Unlike his warrior brothers, Dara found himself interested in philosophy, art, and the quest for spiritual knowledge. He studied Persian poetry, Sufism, and Sanskrit scriptures to narrow the gulf between Islam and Hinduism. His most renowned work, Majma-ul-Bahrain (The Confluence of the Two Seas), tried to bring harmony between Sufi and Vedantic schools of thought.

भीष्म साहनी (8 अगस्त जुलाई ) का जन्म रावलपिंडी (पाकिस्तान) में हुआ। आप आधुनिक हिन्दी साहित्य के प्रमुख स्तंभों में से थे। में लाहौर गवर्नमेन्ट कॉलेज, लाहौर से अंग्रेजी साहित्य में एम ए करने के बाद साहनी ने में पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय से पीएचडी की उपाधि हासिल की। विभाजन के बाद उन्होंने भारत आकर समाचारपत्रों में लिखने का काम किया। वे अंबाला, अमृतसर में अध्यापक रहने के बाद दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय में साहित्य के प्रोफेसर बने । मास्को में विदेशी भाषा प्रकाशन गृह में अनुवादक के काम में कार्यरत रहे। उन्हें में तमस के लिए साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार, में शिरोमणि लेखक अवार्ड (पंजाब सरकार), में एफ्रो एशियन राइटर्स असोसिएशन का लोटस अवार्ड, में सोवियत लैंड नेहरू अवार्ड तथा में भारत सरकार के पद्मभूषण अलंकरण से विभूषित किया गया।
