John ConstableRA ( 11 June – 31 March ) was an English landscape painter in the Romantic tradition. Born in Suffolk, he is known principally for revolutionising the genre of landscape painting with his pictures of Dedham Vale, the area surrounding his home – now known as "Constable Country" – which he invested with an intensity of affection. "I should paint my own places best", he wrote to his friend John Fisher in , "painting is but another word for feeling".
Constable's most famous paintings include Wivenhoe Park (), Dedham Vale () and The Hay Wain (). Although his paintings are now among the most popular and valuable in British art, he was never financially successful. John Constable was a representative of the romantic direction of painting of the late 18th early 19th centuries. John Constable&#;s paintings depict nature, everyday scenes, weather phenomena. Among the famous examples of his work are the landscapes of Suffolk and the surrounding area the painter&#;s native places. John Constable was not financially successful at home. To the wild landscapes and ruins popular at the time, he preferred the views of mills, peaceful fields, and peasant carts. Coldly received by English critics, it was highly praised by French painters.
Biography of John Constable
Fate did not foresee his path to art. The poor health of the eldest son forced his father to assign responsibility for the business to the youngest John. He was educated in a good school, having finished his studies, worked at his father&#;s mill until his uncle took over the family business. The first youthful sketches were born while traveling around the neighborhood. At the turn of the century, John Constable began asking his father to let him go to the capital to enter the Academy of Arts.

Early life
John Constable was born 11 June in East Bergholt, Suffolk where he spent most of his life. He was the son of a wealthy mill owner and coal merchant. Growing up, John helped with his father&#;s business and spent considerable time absorbed in nature, drawing sketches of the countryside. He referred to his &#;careless boyhood&#; as being a factor in his journey towards becoming a painter. In particular, his childhood walks with the sights and sounds of the countryside drew him into painting.

He was mostly self-taught, though, in , he was able to persuade his father to allow him to pursue a career in art &#; and after his father agreement, he entered the Royal Academy School for a short time, where he studied great artists such as Thomas Gainsborough and Peter Paul

John Constable () was the second child of his parents. John&#;s father, a wealthy corn mill merchant, owned and operated two corn mills. Although it was customary for the eldest son to take over the family business, because John&#;s elder brother was born mentally-disabled, John himself would be expected to assume the responsibility.
As a young man, John attended a Levanham boarding school. He later attended a public school in their hometown of Dedham. When John left school he began work in the corn mill until his eldest brother began to run the business after all. John, now free to pursue his own dreams and interests began sketching landscapes. This was the beginning of his early career as an artist.
Early Travels
John set out on various amateur sketching trips around the countryside of Suffolk. Scenes such as the views of his homeland’s countryside were to be the subject of the majority of his art pieces. John stated at one time
