The couple reflected on their first date during an episode of Williams’ ESPN+ docuseries, In the Arena, revealing that the athlete’s agent and assistant joined them at dinner. “It was, like, two hours of interrogation and questions,” Ohanian recalled. “Do I have kids? Am I married?”
He remembered feeling “bombarded” with questions by Williams’ agent, Jill Smoller, and the tennis star’s then-assistant. “Nothing was off limits,” Ohanian teased.
Despite being in the hot seat, Ohanian and Williams hit it off. “During dinner he started talking about Iron Man and Marvel, and that’s the way to my heart,” Williams gushed.
